The star in question was included in the list of symbiotic stars observed by Martel & Gravina (1985) (for spectra) and Martel & Gravina (1985) (for photometry). It is classified as a confirmed symbiotic star in SIMBAD (Wenger et al., 2000), referring to the mentioned articles. However, subsequent studies have identified this object as a B[e] star (The et al., 1994; Klochkova & Chentsov, 2016).
